About Us

Serving Sacramento Valley’s Cherokee Community

As a 501(c)(3) Official Cherokee Community Organization, we are part of a broad network of at-large Cherokee communities outside the 14-county tribal jurisdictional area of the Cherokee Nation in what is now called northeastern Oklahoma.

We are chartered through the Cherokee Nation Community & Cultural Outreach office, which provides support for CNCV’s operations and events.

Following the spirit of ᎦᏚᎩ gadugi, we’re here to foster community and connection among Cherokee people and our many relations. We also serve as a contact point between at-large citizens and the Cherokee Nation.
