October 2025 Membership Meeting and Meet Your Board
We had a great time together in community at our October membership meeting. We started the meeting with a blessing in Cherokee, visited together, met the candidates running for election to the board and voted, ate a delicious potluck, honored exiting board member Roxanna Horne with a special CNCV Eternal Flame award for her dedicated service to the CNCV, and made corn husk dolls while hearing the traditional story of why the corn husk doll has no face.

We are so grateful to those willing to volunteer their valuable time and energy giving back to our community! Our board members dedicate countless hours to our community, being compensated only with the joy and fulfilment that comes by serving in the spirit of gadugi.
At our October election this year, we voted in Mike Webb and Sabrina McKinney for another two years of dedicated service and welcome newly elected board members, Mary Crenshaw and Elena Hansen, who have been serving dutifully as Associate Board Members over the past year.
