CNCV Annual Campout

Come on out to our Annual Campout, one of our award winning community events!

Our campout for 2026 is scheduled for July 17- 19 at Gold Country Campground, 13026 Tabeaud Rd. in Pine Gove, CA.

  • Reserve as soon as possible: call the resort and say you’re with the Cherokees of Northern Central Valley group for a discount.

  • Contact Information: (209) 296-4650 or www.goldcountrycampground.com!

You can come for the day or spend the entire weekend enjoying the grounds, great food, great friends, and lots of excellent cultural activities. We are planning an exciting weekend for your enjoyment, including crafts, games, and Saturday night dinner together.

Activities you can look forward to:

  • Cherokee crafts, details to be announced

  • Cherokee games - we will have the brand new Winter Rabbit game created by citizens as well as traditional chunkey and marbles. Outdoor games will occur on Saturday, August 2.

  • Swimming pool, spray park, and playground available for the young and young at heart

  • Bison Indian taco dinner with Three Sisters Succotash on Saturday evening

  • And lots of time to visit and laugh together

We could also use some volunteer help with our Saturday dinner prep!

Come help us make fresh frybread for bison Indian tacos, seasonal Three Sisters succotash, and delicious peach crisp to feed our hungry and wonderful Cherokee community. We are looking for a few volunteers and will provide all instruction (want to learn how to make frybread?).

Email cncv.communications@gmail.com if you are able to assist on Saturday. ᏩᏙ Wado!
