Cherokee Gentleman: Rob McCoy Wood

July 23, 1948 - February 18, 2024

Laurie and Hannah Wood, Rob's wife and daughter, invited five CNCV members and spouses to attend his memorial and celebration of life on Saturday, July 26th.

Below is a memorial text read by Mike at the celebration, photos of Rob's eagle feathers that Odell and Mike framed for his surviving family, photo of two stones that were brought back from the Cherokee Nation Reservation on Rob's marker with a bronze metal inscription in syllabary, written by his personal friend Tommy Wildcat, and photos taken at Rob's memorial.
